H. Erdal YALT was born in 1950, in Bursa (Türkiye). He had the chance of living in several Anatolian cities during his early school years. At age 13, he went to France with his family and lived there for two years. After graduating Lycée Saint-Benoît (French high school in Istanbul), he pursued his education in engineering at Middle East Technical University and graduated as Electrical Engineer. He worked for several private companies before he moved to USA in 1998. His first novel Rakkas Masalı (Tale of a Male Dancer) was published in 2005 in Turkey.
